Course Cancellation By Nurse Educator

Should it be necessary for Nurse Educator to cancel a course due to low enrollment or instructor illness, your registration will be transferred to another course at no charge.

Course Transfer

A one-time transfer to another course may be requested at least two business days prior to the course at no charge.

One additional transfer may be requested; a $20 fee applies.

Cancel With Notice (minimum of 2 business days notice)

To receive a refund, the student must cancel more than two business days prior to the course date. The student will be refunded the course fee less $20.00 cancellation fee.

Cancel Without Notice (less than 2 business days)

No refunds will be given when a student cancels or request a transfer less than two business days prior to the course date.

Students may transfer to another course; a 20% fee applies (20% of the course registration fee).

Once a student transfers to another course, the student may no longer request or obtain a refund should they decide to subsequently cancel or downgrade the certification training course for which they were originally registered.

When students do not show up for the course in which they have registered, the full course fee per student will be charged and no refund will be given.

Arriving more than 15 minutes late for an appointment without calling to notify Nurse Educator, may result in the appointment being forfeited and may be counted as No-Show.

Please notify Nurse Educator in advance of any absence due to illness. A notified absence due to illness will be treated as a Course Transfer.

Some of our courses require physical exertion.  Individuals with existing medical conditions such as pregnancy, bone, muscle, and joint conditions, and respiratory conditions, should consult a doctor or Nurse Practitioner prior to attendance.  We do not assume any risk or liability for injuries or illness that may result from course participation.  Please talk to your primary care provider and stay safe.

Additional Policy for Standard First Aid and CPR Courses

As an additional precaution against transmission of colds and influenza, you will not be permitted to attend a class if you exhibit signs of such illness. You will be asked to request a transfer to a different date.
